Pori, Finland
It just started to snow at our area (which will possibly melt by tomorrow… but let’s just be happy for today). After all the pre-Christmas roller coaster it is so very nice to have something calming around us – like snowflakes falling on our faces.
With all the snow and whiteness around us right now, made me remember of our nordic friends, and basically all the friends whom we had a wonderful 1st TOOB meeting with in Pori, Finland just a week ago.
We had so many great experiences – the interesting differences of cultures, in heritages: learned about the beautiful tradition of ‘Lucia’, experienced art, learned about a new way of collaboration in education from the University Consortium of Pori, also very importantly: we got to know each other.
A few days around the theme of creativity from different points of view.
In was such a good atmosphere to have our discussion what we ALL think about creativity. Like people, in general. When each country shared their experiences with the survey and the outcomes of it, we have discovered so many common spots however, surprising differences as well. ( We will return to this more detailed in another post soon. ) It was great to see how the the common ‘work-stage’ came to form, and looking so much forward to all the things our Creative Team will discover, the outcomes of the two years of TOOB.
